router- a networking device whose software and hardware are usually toilored to the tasks of routing and fowarding information. EX: on teh internet, information is directeed to various paths by routers.
DNS- A hierarchial naming system that translates human meaningful domain names to the numerical (binary) identifiers associated with networking equipment for the purpose of locating and addressing these devices world wide
